The nightclubs in Ibiza are already getting ready for their grand ‘openings’. Some of them will open their doors in April, when tourists and locals can dance to the rhythm of the best DJs in the music scene.

In this article, we will share with you the opening parties at all major clubs in Ibiza and their line ups. Because we also like to party sometimes and most of our lovely guests have presented great interest in the dance music scene in Ibiza.

Akasha Ibiza Nightclub

We would like to start this article with one of our favorite clubs on the island, Akasha Ibiza. This is the residents mecca or agora, so to speak.

The inspiration behind the club’s concept comes from the Sanskrit word “Akasha,” which means space, sky, or ether. The idea is to provide guests with an experience that feels like a celebration or ceremony every evening, and it’s true that many dancers feel a certain level of connection with each other while there. Even if you come alone, you’ll never feel lonely.

Located inside the famous Las Dalias Mercadillo Ibiza, Akasha has been open for most of the winter, except for a couple of months. It remains a favorite among residents, providing an inclusive atmosphere that draws people in.

On 6th April, Akasha is hosting Sven Väth presents We Only Come Out At Night (& Day) (we can’t wait for this one), and on 30th April, the club is hosting Damian Lazarus + a special guest for the main opening party scene in Ibiza.

Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza

These two nightclubs will open to the public this season on April 29th to kick off the tourist season with ‘The Signal’ party. This event will host artists such as Adam Beyer, Anfisa Letyago, Eric Prydz, Honey Dijon, Loco Dice and The Martinez Brothers, among others.

Amnesia Ibiza

The nightclub on Sant Antoni road will open on May 13th. The club announces that DJs Seth Troxler and Skream will be responsible for setting the sound for one of the most important events of the season, where they will mix house and techno on the terrace during the sunrise. On the Terrace, Marco Faraone, one of the regulars from last season, will bring his powerful sounds for a back to back with Special Request , the famous alias of Paul Woolford, an artist who is synonymous with the jungle sound, heavy bass and of the raving spirit.

The terrace line-up, according to the club, is completed with renowned Maceo Plex, Guy Gerber, as well as the residents Mar-T and Caal, and the emerging star in the African scene, Gina Jeanz.

On the other hand, the main room will feature a techno exhibition by Adam Beyer,  Amnesia regular and Drumcode head, along with new-school trendsetter Layton Giordani. Fierce Palestinian Sama’ Abdulhadi will bring her powerful vision of techno and the master of Filth On Acid’s hardest rave sounds.

Reinier Zonneveld, will also line up for a live set with renowned resident Luca Donzelli and faithful Ibiza mainstay Anna Tur.

Pyramid Special – Amnesia Club – April 28th 2023

In 2023, Pyramid will kick off its season with an early warm-up party on Friday, April 28th. The Main Room will be led by Amelie Lens, Klangkuenstler, Luca Donzelli, and Mathias Kaden, while the Terraza will be taken care of by Luciano b2b Arapu, Cuartero, and Layla Benitez. The official summer season will commence on June 11th and end on October 8th.

Pacha Ibiza Nightclub

This 2023 season marks a momentous occasion for the club as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. They expressed excitement for what’s to come, stating that this year’s opening will be nothing short of phenomenal. Guests can expect to dance all night long to the beats of Solomun and kick off the summer season in true Pacha style.

As of the writing of this article, it appears that the Grand Opening of Pacha Ibiza for 2023, taking place on Friday, April 28th at midnight, is already sold out.

Circoloco at DC-10

Circoloco at DC-10, the famous underground club on the Las Salinas highway, will be returning in 2023 and will have its longest season ever. Starting on May 1st, the event will take place every Monday until the closing party on October 9th. Guests can expect the event to run from 6:00 PM in the evening until early the next morning, with the exception of the opening and closing parties which will start even earlier in the afternoon.

Lineups are released typically only a week in advance, but regulars last season included Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Peggy Gou, Matthias Tanzmann, Gerd Jansen, Damien Lazarus, Loco Dice, Tania Vulcano, Guy Gerber, Carl Craig, Kerri Chandler, and many, many more.

NUI Ibiza

NUI Ibiza, situated outside Ibiza Town close to IKEA, is a versatile venue that has recently reopened its doors to the public in 2021. This multipurpose space comprises a restaurant, an art gallery, and a capacious indoor and outdoor event area, all conveniently located under one roof.

Additionally, NUI doubles as a weekend club, featuring parties catering to diverse audiences ranging from Berlin techno to alternative sounds. The lineups for these events are typically announced between one to several weeks in advance (depending on the organizer).

NUI is also a favorite among locals, remaining open throughout the winter. For a more intimate, underground atmosphere, you can explore NUI Club in Ibiza town.

Club Chinois

Club Chinois will celebrate its first summer party on April 6th with Boho Experience.

Club Chinois, located in Marina Botafoch, offers an all-inclusive yet opulent experience. The team behind Mayfair’s esteemed Asian dining destination, Park Chinois, has taken over the former HEART venue and given it a multi-million Euro renovation. With one of the most finely-tuned sound systems on Ibiza, guests can revel in performances by renowned international headliners and live shows spanning across the musical spectrum.

It’s worth noting that Club Chinois enforces a dress code policy which requires men to wear long trousers.
